My favorite lace pattern right now is the first one I have ever knitted! It's called Falling Birch Leaves and I am knitting it in Jojoland Melody. I already have a stash of lace yarn, just calling to me to be used!

My Ravelry name is yarnnonni and I have been knitting for 4 years now after crocheting for 45 years. I love it and my favorite is lace. My favorite lace pattern for beauty is Nightsong. My favorite for simplicity and beautiful colors is Guirlandes (using Noro sock yarn).

My favorite lace pattern so far is the Cube Pattern with a Spruce from Haapsalu Shawl. I'm using it for the center of a wedding shawl for my daughter, because it's so beautiful.

I suppose my favourite lace pattern would be the traditional 'Old Shale' - it's so flexible and adaptable.

I don't think I have a favourite lace pattern, there are just too many that I love. My current favourite is probably the Evenstar motif on the Evenstar mystery shawl KAL. It's delicate and pretty.

ReplyDeleteSo far my favorite lace pattern is Feather and Fan, but I will say at this point I still pretty new to lace. That said, I am falling head-over-heels with lace and am looking forward to learning a lot more patterns.

ReplyDeleteMy current favorite lace pattern is called "fir cone", I believe. It's the one used in the Emily shawl I made and also the popular Shetland Triangle shawl. It looks awful till it's blocked, then it looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty new to lace knitting and have just started Marianne Kinzel's Daffodil tea cloth form her Second Book of Modern Lace Knitting. I suppose since I've only just started with lace that this is my favorite pattern. :) I have worked some less complex lace, of course, but I really want to design my own pieces and need all the stitch libraries I can get my hands on!
