Cuddly dogs was an understatement. Sophie made sure she kept my leg warm while one of us was watching the Pats game and getting some Christmas knitting in...
After my Pats stomped all over those Bills, it was Lapdog B-A-T-H time. At least I had some help yesterday, so it wasn't the usual 1 human vs. 4 mischievous dogs. Our odds were 2 on 4 and it was time to bring it... starting with the humans trying to bribe, then chase & catch dogs to get them in the bath tub. Of course, if you're a doggy parent, you already know how it ended... 4 crazy dogs insisting they must shake, shake, shake as.close.as.possible to their humans, making sure they look like they took a bath too.
They went in that order you see there... Lola was up first, followed closely by Tut. After trying her best to hide, Sophie was in third and Zeus brought it all home. Doesn't my big guy look absolutely pitiful in that picture? sigh I suppose I should have taken a "before and after" picture of the humans.... maybe next time.
Yikes! Mom has a hard enough time giving me a bath! She thinks you must be super to do all 4 pups! Barooo buddies!
ReplyDeleteMom has a tough time giving me a bath, she can't imagine 4 in a row! Baroo buddies!
ReplyDeleteWoof! Woof! Hey I had a bath too ... I posted it on my MM blog post today. Mom would like to do some knitting again (she does needs more time). Happy MM. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
ReplyDeleteOh poor Zeus, he looks totally miserable. My guys never want to have baths, but they always strut around afterwards as if they think they look pretty darn good.
ReplyDeletePoor Zeus looks so sad. It might be considered a case of doggie abuse if all of the circumstances weren't known. We were so mad at halftime in the Pats game, but they sure did STOMP in the second half, didn't they? You know my youngest son was delighted!
ReplyDeleteOoo! What a good idea! Before and afters of the people! I'd pay a dollar to see that. ;)
ReplyDeleteWow.... bathtime x 4....I don't think my mom could deal with that! Your pups are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBath time is tough, which is one reason we tend to put it off ....and off... and off

Oh, four baths in one day. That's tiring! I'd say that definitely calls for some adult beverages!
ReplyDeleteCute pups! Wish mine was a lap dog! (Maybe she will be if the weather ever starts to cool down here in So Cal!) I can hope...
Oh bath time! We are lucky because we don't have bath time very much around here. They usually just find a clean pond and let us swim or rinse us with a garden hose. But we do try to get as close as possible to our humans to shake...lol.

Did you say you were making Christmas gifts already? Wow! Your are good!
ReplyDeleteOh wow - your Mom is a good sport! We usually bath the girls separately to avoid back strain! Ah knitting is something I am thinking of picking up again!
ReplyDeleteHahaha before and after photos of human will be very interesting ;)
ReplyDeleteHey that day of football, knitting, cuddly dogs and an adult beverage sounds perfect to me! There's nothing like the smell of a wet dog....or four. LOL!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness!!
ReplyDelete4 Dogs to be bathed!! My Mum thinks it's a big deal for her and Dad to bath me?!
Wags to all
Your pal Snoopy :)
