Hard to believe, but it sure has. Happy Gotcha Day Penny!
Penny brought much needed joy back to our house after an extremely difficult start to 2015, and she's been running full-speed ever since... spreading happiness wherever she goes.
One of the most important things was the fact that she got her brother and sister playing again!
To know her is to love her... and that we do. Very, very much.
I hope Penny's infectious attitude has shined through our posts over the past year... you just can't help but smile with this one around.
Penny may not have grown into the "big girl" we had expected (her angel sister Lola was 90lbs... we expected Penny to be upwards of 75, yet she's teetering around 50), but the size of her heart is enormous. She's grown into such a fine young lady... and yes, she really is that gorgeous!
My middie-size-dobe-girl is truly amazing. It's no wonder Karma was her given rescued name. Long time readers may recall that it was a bit of a journey to get to Penny's Gotcha Day, but I wouldn't change a thing.... well, unless we had decided to take her brother at the same time. Could you imagine Penny x2?
Penny loves to work, and she's keeping us all on our toes because of it. We completed basic obedience training and she passed her AKC Canine Good Citizen test at just 9 months of age. Next up will hopefully be nose work, but we're still looking for a class nearby.
Here's to another fabulous year baby girl!
time does fly! I cant get over how much she looks like Lola. I kind of wanted Fry and Tuvok to be very different fro m Norbert and Tubby in appearance, because I didnt want to compare them too much to two perfect dogs. I love seeing similarities in their behavior though. I noticed this weekend Fry chews a bone the same way Tubby did
