Dustee (aww... wasn't that a cute group photo?) has become quite the little adventurer, hiking around on the rocks in Maine and enjoying the ocean. I just adore this handsome little man...
If you've ever wondered what happy truly looks like, just look at this big smile. This little guy had such a rough start in life and it still amazes me how full of love and life he is!
I also heard from Cotton's (aww, another cute group photo) - formerly known as Bella - family. Looks like she's become a little outdoors-women/hiker herself.
I'm so honored to have been a small part of these happy furbabies lives. It truly makes my day when I hear from their families and get to see new pictures! Its not easy, but if you can do it, think about fostering...... your heart may ache when they go off to their forever homes (or you may fail... once... or maybe twice, like we did), but the rewards are endless.... and priceless.
I'm not smart enough to figure out how to email you my email, so here it is: mary.neffinger@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI so admire you for what you have done for these little souls. [[[Hugs]]]
ReplyDeleteSo nice that you took a loving part in their lives.
ReplyDeleteThey look to be very happy in their fur-ever homes:)
Nichole ...what a great service! I never heard of Foster Care for dogs!
ReplyDeleteFoster babies, Dustee and Cotton/Bella(which means beautiful)
you are the happiest looking two!
I know it's because Nichole was showing you great LOVE! You both look like GREAT DOGS and like you really love being outdoors and exploring! I hope your families treat you well and keep sending photos!
You have a great heart, Nichole!
And now I have seen HAPPY :) and that makes me happy! Thanks! Enjoy your weekend! Do you have others?
I'll just look more through your blog!
How sweet to get new photos of them! They look so happy!! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy dogs! Thank you for fostering so they could find their way to their proper forever homes!
ReplyDeleteI makes my heart smile when I see happy dogs! You are wonderful to help those pups get another chance at love in their forever homes!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you did a good job with your foster babies!
ReplyDeleteThese do look like some happy folks! (I'm sure they think they are just very hairy people!)
ReplyDeleteThey do look happy!
ReplyDeleteOh such a great BIG smile too!! Beuatiful babies, no matter who thier owner, they'll always be apart of you anyways!
ReplyDeleteThats great that the new families keep in touch :)
Bless you sweetie for your kind soul! Hope the dogs will find a loving forever home to go to. Love the happy dogs pictures! You can see how happy they look!
ReplyDeleteIlove that their new parents keep in touch with you. Makes it a little bit easier - no? g
ReplyDeleteWhat cuties!! It must make you feel very good to be part of a project like this. So much better for the pups to be fostered in a loving home than in a shelter. :)
ReplyDeleteRescue dogs make the best friends! I'd love to take in one or two, but we have no fence and Himself and I are opposed to keeping a dog on a chain.
ReplyDeleteI think that one of the best things of fostering is getting updates of our former babies, seeing their happy faces and knowing how loved they are!
