I miss her every day... and wish more than ever she were still here. This is one of my favorite pictures of us, from Christmas Eve 1999 (you'll notice she wouldn't look at the camera... that was Nana)...

ReplyDeleteI am still adjusting having lost 3 of my 4 grandparents in the past year, along with my dad. I feel they are still around though!
I'm quite sure she's proud of you. And I'm shocked at how much you look like a local girlfriend in that photo... I'll have to see if I can find I picture of her to email you!

((Hugs)) for you,I am right there with you Nichole. It's been 10 yrs for me and I still see me Grama in everything I do. Isn't it wonderful that we have all those great memories? Oh, that we can impart the same to those coming after us.

ReplyDeleteShe's proud of you and she's watching over you. I miss my Nana, too. She's been gone almost 10 years now. Six weeks later my daughter finally got pregnant and my granddaughter has Nana's maiden name as her middle name. My son-in-law believes that Nana interceded on their behalf.
