Jordana Paige held "Handbags Help Haiti," an imperfect bag sale on January 27. All bags were priced at just $50 each and 100% of the sales were donated to Doctors Without Borders Haiti relief... $15,150 total! I took the opportunity to help and purchased my first JP bag, a Rio in red.
She arrived yesterday and I couldn't be happier, although she is bigger than I expected! I had thought this might be my new every day purse, but its definitely tote size! The "imperfections" for the bags in this sale ranged from scratches and dings to missing buckles and feet. I'm happy to say the only boo-boos on my Rio were some extra strings dangling from one handle's stitching (easily removed) and maybe two pin head size "dings" on the back - barely visible (I could've even done that myself when I was flipping it all around)!
Of course, you know what happens when anything new enters the Lapdog household...
Rio is offically Lola-Approved...

Wow...looks awesome!! Congrats on the new bag! Glad that Lola likes it too! ;)
Good looking bag and a good cause. Did it get the doggie seal of approval?
My WW: Two Hearts Beat
I got my Knitter's Satchel in the mail from JP and I honestly can't find an imperfection in it. I'm absolutely in love with it, too. It's been everywhere with me for the past couple days. :-)
Lovely color. Can't wait to hear how it works with regular use... or is it too big for that?
