Get Your Knit On #DogMomsWhoKnit #WordlessWednesday

Happy Wednesday! It's been awhile since I've shared some knitting photos, huh? Although I haven't been doing as much as I'd like, I have been able to get some quality time in at the race track.

I actually finished something too... my Painted scarf!

And no, it should not take two years to knit this scarf. However, I am not a monogamous knitter - which means I always have several items on the needles at once. This was my race track knitting project for a long time (apparently 2 years) and rarely worked on elsewhere. I thought the completed photo with the tires was a nice touch (and yes, I still have to weave in the ends).

Next up to be finished is my first Wingspan shawl/scarf (I say first because I know I will be doing some gift knitting of this).

What are the rest of my fellow crafty dog Moms working on?  Any knitting, crocheting, sewing or DIY projects?

Oh, and for those of you wondering why Penny and I get to enjoy track life so much, here is what the Lapdogs' Daddy does for fun.

  9. Both of your projects are really pretty! Our friend Greg's son just welcomed a baby girl, and I think she needs a baby blanket. Probably not this week, since it's 90 outside, but still....I'll have to order yarn. And I'm going to make summer dresses, since I just got a big shipment of gauze in a rainbow of colors! Hope you have a wonderful weekend, Nic. Stay cool!

  10. Pretty! I end up with more than one project as well. I don't knit, but I crochet and too many other crafty things. My hubby is into cars and we got to lots of car shows. My dog doesn't usually attend, though. He doesn't like noise. Boys and their loud toys! ~RascalandRocco
