As soon as I opened the 4.6oz container, all of the Lapdogs promptly lined up for a sampling... and they were not disappointed.  Apparently, my pack loves their wild salmon!    Sure, the treats have a distinct fishy smell to them, but it's nothing this Gloucester born-and-raised girl can't handle.  Just don't tell Zeus these treats are also meant for C-A-T-S too!

Monday Mischief

Well, I guess the holidays are officially over and it's time to get back to some sort of normalcy.  That means back to regular blogging and reviews... and back to the Lapdogs regular batch of mischief.

Like keeping an eye on the entire neighborhood...

That is, when they're not sleeping on the job...

Or being lazy cuddling with Mommy...

Or annoying keeping an eye on Mommy...

Whatever the mischief going on in your house today, we hope it's happy!

Last Minute Knitting

Happy first Fiber Arts Friday of 2014!  While I did not get everything I had hoped for completed in time for Christmas, I did get several items finished and gifted.  The last item was a prime example of what one would consider "last minute gift knitting." 

It was literally finished on the way to Christmas Eve in Connecticut.  I finished off the uber soft alpaca Ribs & Ruffles scarf and wove in the ends during our 2 hour drive...

On the way, I decided to use the finished scarf as a bow for another package.  It looked fabulous, if I do say so myself!  In fact, I think I might gift more scarves like this in the future.

Here's to knitting ahead in 2014!

Happy New Year, and happy first Wordless Wednesday of 2014!  Is everyone still enjoying holiday treats?

Christmas Treats

It's the last Tasty Tuesday of 2013... can you believe it?  We sure can't!

Grampa Dan & Gramma Sue know the way to the Lapdogs heart... a big 'ole tin full of some of their favorite treats all the way from Charlotte, NC! 

The cookies are from the Canine Café in Charlotte and have been one of the Lapdogs favorites ever since I started bringing them home from vacation.  Unfortunately, we haven't been down to Charlotte since 2010, but Grampa & Gramma help us out.

Needles to say, this gift was very popular!  The Lapdogs are enjoying their Barbara's Canine Catering cookies, which are handmade and all natural.  I've had the pleasure of meeting Barbara in person a few times over the years when we've stopped in the store.  She's a wonderful lady and the Lapdogs say she really knows how to bake dog cookies!
