My dogs love squeaky toys... especially the hounds, Tut and Sophie.  They love them so much that the squeaking can be ear piercing and well, yes, annoying!  Have you ever wished for a compromise?  Perhaps a toy that your dog loves and can squeak until his heart's content, but that you can't hear?

Let me introduce you to Hear Doggy, the ultrasonic dog toy that "gives your dog the same sensation and enjoyment of traditional squeaky toys without the irritating noise!"  How, you ask?  The science behind Hear Doggy is...

Dogs can hear sounds at a higher frequency (0 to 45KHz) than humans (0 to 20 KHz). Tuned to an ultrasonic range in the 24-28 KHz frequency, each Hear Doggy squeaker is out of human hearing range, but still fun for your four-legged friend.

In addition to the ultrasonic technology, Hear Doggy toys also feature Chew Guard Technology. 

Chew Guard Technology is a manufacturing process that adds a super tough, durable liner to the toy making it strong enough to stand up to even the toughest play.

We received a Hear Doggy Martian for review and Tut immediately claimed it as his own.  I'm sure you'll agree with me that this is one of the most adorable toys ever!  The bright green little guy is too cute, and I love that his reinforced seams and Chew Guard lining really stand up to my pack's rough and tough playing.  Whether they are getting the satisfaction of a regular squeaky toy or not, however, I just don't know and really wish dogs could talk!  I just can't tell if the hounds think it's as cool as a regular squeaker or not.  They've each taken turns running around the house with Marvin (come on, what else would you name a little green man?) and tossing him up in the air, however he has not replaced any of their other squeaker toys.  Perhaps the ultrasonic squeaker eventually breaks, as with convention squeakers?  If this is the case, there's a good chance they broke it on the first day!


Regardless, the Hear Doggy toys sure are cute and they come in a variety of species - Martians, Blowfish, Whales, Penguins, Skunks, Deer and more!  Of course, we're a little biased and we think Marvin is the cutest of them all!  If you've got a squeaky lover in your pack, pick one up today!  Trust us... you'll be glad you did when you can hear the TV tonight!
