Surprise My Pet Box #JoinThePawty & SAVE 15%
Disclosure: Surprise My Pet sent a January subscription box to Lapdog Creations, free of charge for review purposes. I was not compensated for this review and all opinions expressed are my own.
The Lapdogs love when boxes land on our doorstep, especially the kind that come packed full of toys and treats each month.
They get all wiggly and jumpy, each trying to be the first to see what's inside the mystery box. Sometimes it's a hit, and sometimes it's a miss.
When the folks at Surprise My Pet asked if we wanted to check out their goody box, we jumped at the chance... and I'm happy to report that it was a hit!
Surprise My Pet is everything both you and your dog want and need - a monthly box of goodies that your dog will love, and one that won't hurt your pocketbook. Each box contains 4 - 6 healthy treats and handpicked toys delivered straight to your doorstep!

National Love Your Pet Day #LoveYourPetEveryDay
Is it just me, or does it seem like every day is a national something-something-something day?
If you look at one of those "days of the year" websites, you may actually be surprised to learn that there are multiple things to celebrate every day... never mind the weekly and monthly celebrations.
Most are just for fun, while some are meant to bring awareness to a great cause. Today is one that we absolutely had to bring to your attention.
It's National Love Your Pet Day!

Loving Pets Dolce Diner: Fit For a Princess... or Two
Disclosure: Loving Pets sent a Dolce Diner to Lapdog Creations, free of charge for review purposes. I was not compensated for this review and all opinions expressed are my own.
Thanks to Loving Pets, raised dishes are not only functional, but pretty as well!
Long time readers may remember that we reviewed a few items from Loving Pets in the past, including the Milano Bowl. While I absolutely loved the bowl in so many ways - especially the removable inner bowl and adorable "Bad to the Bone" design - it didn't quite fit a need at the time and went into storage after our review. Then Penny came along and claimed it as her own - a perfect fit.
This time around, Loving Pets sent us an Osso Dolce Diner to check out.
Like the Milano Bowl that Penny loves as much as I do, all Dolce dishes feature removable, bacteria resistant stainless steel bowls in plastic bases. This concept really caught my eye before and I kept thinking to myself, why don't more companies make their pet bowls like this? Loving Pets really hit the nail on the head with this design.

Valentines, Voting and Chickens? #WordlessWednesday
Happy Wednesday. We've been experiencing some issues with our internet provider (as I've read so has much of the country), so excuse the post interruptions.
For now, let's get wordless....

Caught on Video: Snow Dogs! #ThankfulThursday #DogsPlayingInSnow
Since it's Thankful Thursday, I thought I would take the opportunity to share more photos and videos of Penny's favorite thing in the whole wide world right now (well, next to tennis balls, sitting on her sister, wrestling with her brother and kissing her humans anyway)...
SNOW!
So many thought it was going to be a near snowless winter, but I kept saying, "Just wait." After all, we live in New England where you can go to work in snow boots and a parka and come home in flip flops and a t-shirt.

Somebody Save Me
Excuse the fly-by post today. We have several product reviews in the works, but someone hasn't had a chance to sit down at the computer and unfortunately none of the Lapdogs have learned to type yet.
I hate when life gets in the way. I need an assistant, but I think the odds are more in favor of adopting another furbaby before that'll ever happen. Besides, Penny needs a puppy...
Anyone know of a cute rescue dog... who can type an average of 65 wpm?
Anyway, I thought today's Ten on Tuesday topic was fun.

Game Day Check List --- #DogMomsWhoKnit #BlackandWhiteSunday
Happy Super Bowl Sunday. Here's our check list for the day...
We'll be watching the Super Bowl later today, but I admit it's not going to be as fun as usual. My focus will be on the commercials (please let them be better than last year) and the best pregame show around, the Puppy Bowl!
How about you? Are you watching... perhaps while cuddled up with dogs, some knitting and maybe even an adult beverage?
Enjoy the game. Here's to the Pats in 2017!

Dirty Dog? Quick Bath Wipes to the Rescue!
Disclosure: International Veterinary Sciences sent Quick Bath Wipes to Lapdog Creations, free of charge for review purposes. I was not compensated for this review and all opinions expressed are my own.
There's no denying the fact that dogs get dirty.
And, there's no denying the fact that I get lazy when it comes to bathing my furkids. Don't judge... I know I'm not the only one.
Carving out an afternoon to bathe each dog, one by one, in the bathtub not only takes planning, but it also takes patience... and strength. Have you ever tried lifting 130 pounds* of dead weight dog into a bathtub? Like I said, don't judge...
There's got to be an easy, affordable and fast way to "spot clean" my dogs between baths, right?
Quick Bath Wipes to the rescue!
Quick Bath Wipes are gentle, yet effective wipes that have been specifically formulated to conveniently and safely remove bacteria and odors from a dog's skin, coat and paws.

A Short Winter's Nap? #WordlessWednesday
February came in with spring-like temps that are leaving us wondering if our long winter's nap will be cut short...

Heavy Chewer? Get a #BullyMake Box + COUPON
Disclosure: Bullymake sent a single month subscription box to Lapdog Creations, free of charge for review purposes. I was not compensated for this review and all opinions expressed are my own.
The Lapdogs got their first taste of a Bullymake Box back in August, and really enjoyed the toys and treats.
Their Mama loved the fact that the treats were of high quality, but even more, I love that the toys have stood up to the test of time... and puppy teeth! Penny was just turning 5 months old when we received our first box for review. Combine a teething puppy with two older hounds who love to chew, Bullymake Box was certainly put to the test in our household...
And, they came out with a WIN!
