Last Minute Knitting

Happy first Fiber Arts Friday of 2014!  While I did not get everything I had hoped for completed in time for Christmas, I did get several items finished and gifted.  The last item was a prime example of what one would consider "last minute gift knitting."

Ribs & Ruffles #scarf finished just in time! #latergram #knitstagram #handknit

It was literally finished on the way to Christmas Eve in Connecticut.  I finished off the uber soft alpaca Ribs & Ruffles scarf and wove in the ends during our 2 hour drive...

This is what you call real LAST minute gift #knitting Finishing on the way... #knitstagram

On the way, I decided to use the finished scarf as a bow for another package.  It looked fabulous, if I do say so myself!  In fact, I think I might gift more scarves like this in the future.

Here's to knitting ahead in 2014!

Great idea! And pretty "bow".

That is a novel bow for the present! I hope the recipient enjoys it; I'll bet it's soft, warm and much enjoyed today!

Love using the scarf as a bow! I'd totally wrap an box with only a sentiment in it. Great idea.

What a good idea! Those gauntlets have been seeing lots of use in this super cold weather. Thanks again.
