The Lapdogs sure were eager to get to work, reviewing this month's selection from our friends at Chewy. We received Natural Balance L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets Chicken & Sweet Potato Formula, and they could not wait to dig in.
Natural Balance L.I.D. wet cups are a true limited ingredient food, featuring a single premium quality protein source and limited, wholesome carbohydrate sources. The grain-free recipes make them a perfect choice for dogs with food allergies or sensitivities.
The first thing I noticed when I opened a tub was the hearty shreds of chicken and chunks of vegetables. Not only does it look like a delicious, homemade chicken stew, it smells like one too. Which is no wonder, considering Natural Balance hand-crafts the recipes, cooking them in a savory broth that dogs just can't resist. And trust me on that statement... I've got the drool-covered clothing to prove it!
"Hand crafted and cooked to perfection, these formulas deliver essential nutrition with the deliciousness your dog deserves." - Natural Balance
You can use L.I.D. wet cups exclusively, as the recipes are completely balanced nutrition for adult dogs, or use them as a food topper as we do. For us, the 2.75 ounce tubs are quite convenient to use as there are no leftovers to store for later (meaning it's that "fresh can" feeling at each and every meal).

The Lapdogs also received a fun puzzle toy to test this month, so stay tuned for that review!

looks tasty we feed Ping the natural balance white fish and potato as part of her liver friendly diet
Sounds like something my dogs would like. That fresh at each feeding feeling is one tha I like.
No leftovers to store is always a plus. The Lapdogs always look happy when they have foods to test (not that they ever look unhappy, of course).

Lady Shasta of Beaglebratz Manor
Sounds tasty!
They sure seem to be enjoying their food. It's always good to find a food you pet likes and does well on.
Great post! I don't think we ever have leftovers in this house! lol
These sound great!
I like one use containers like this when travelling, hiking, going to the beach etc. The food I look for is more about age than grain - my dog is older and has joint issues. Though you wouldn't know it to see him run.
Yummy, yummy! Glad that it is grain free!
We have had these before as a "topper" for the boys' food. They LOVE them. ♥
Great use of text on your initial photo! These look like great food options to bring while traveling as they are, essentially, single serving options! Thanks so much for your great post!
Natural Balance is a name with the highest reputation, even here in New Zealand. We like the strong element of protein, we have ben reading how valuable this is so NB press all the right buttons for us!
We also *grin* LOVE the pictures. MINE!!!!
Those look good for travel for bigger dogs. I think Mr. N wouldn't be able to finish one in a sitting. Or rather he shouldn't.
Yum! Mauja and Atka haven't this brand, but they love a good wet food ;)
Wow YUM- Kilo the Pug would love those and they actually look so good I'd be tempted (we both love chicken stew). Very handy- I'll grab some for toppers.
oh those look awesome! My 3 would go bonkers over these!
Truffle and Brulee love the cat version of this food.
Never tried this one before - they look tasty (for the pups I mean!) :)
Sounds like some great dog food! I'm sure Simbs would love it :)
Looks great, it's awesome when the ingredients are actually recognizable in the food.
This looks like a delicious option! Your dogs are very lucky to be taste testers.
