Happy 10th Birthday Sophie!
It's hard to believe the little girl who stole our hearts - and decided she had found her forever home when she came to us as a foster - is ten already.
While Sophie is extremely shy around strangers, she's quite the ham around her family.
Sophie has always been a true pack dog who relied on her big angel brother and sister for comfort for many years. But a year and a half ago, the tables turned when she became the big sister, and boy did that bring out her sassy side. It's been heartwarming to watch the sisterly bond grow between she and Penny.
While she and Teutul are both aging faster than I'd like, they are truly seniors with hearts of gold. And Penny is doing a pretty good job at keeping them young at heart!
The Princess does a pretty good job of letting her siblings know who's boss.
I know she's looking forward to her cake tonight... and to dinner by 7:00. Because if the clock strikes 7:01, she'll be barking up a storm to let her humans know that dinner is late.

Happy Birthday Beautiful Sophie! I've been considering how much younger Shasta acts when he has a buddy and that it might be "just what the vet ordered" for him. Sounds like it is working for Sophie!
