And speaking of smiling... who doesn't laugh a little at funky socks, especially during the dead of winter and the frigid temps we've been experiencing lately!
Disclosure: Sock Panda sent 4 pairs of socks to Lapdog Creations, free of charge, for review purposes. Lapdog Creations only shares information we feel is relevant to our readers, and all opinions expressed are our own.
Let me introduce you to Sock Panda, a fun, funky, subscription service that was launched in 2011 with the vision that socks could be amazingly colorful, fun, and fashionable.
The Sock Panda designs creative socks that would make people say wow. Their creations are inspired by the latest trends in fashion, with patterns for everyone's favorite hobbies, designs, creatures, foods, and more!
Sock Panda offers a subscription for everyone - men, women, tweens, and kids - and setting up your subscription takes just a few minutes. All you need to do is...
- Let them know who the subscription is for & pick a style
- Mens: Stylish & Suave and/or Daring & Bold
- Womens: Patterns & Prints and/or Wild & Crazy
- Tweens (9 - 11 years old)
- Kids (3 - 8 years old)
- Tell them how many pairs you want per month
- Complete the simple checkout process
- Sit back and wait for your box of awesome socks to arrive!
I received four pairs of "Wild & Crazy" socks to review... and yes, I was smiling as soon as I opened the package!
Not only are the socks bright and cheerful, they are super soft and cozy as well! Each pair is made in Peru of 85% Peruvian cotton, 10% nylon, and 5% spandex - and, as the Sock Panda reminds us, 100% fun!
While I had hoped to find a pair or two of dog/puppy related socks in my package, I did not. However, I was pleasantly surprised at finding a knitting related pair! They are definitely my favorite - and while I do have several pairs of doggy socks, these are my first knitting pair.
If you're a knitter, I know you're jealous... but I bet if you ask the Sock Panda nicely, you just might find a pair in your first month's subscription.
But it's not just about the yarn ball socks... or the skiing dinosaur, or the veggies... Nope, it's not actually just about our socks at all!
Because of you, the Sock Panda donates socks to those in need
The Sock Panda team is dedicated to using its socks to make the world a better place. The company donates socks to those in need for every subscription purchased.
As of September 2017, the company has donated nearly 100,000 socks to homeless shelters, low income senior centers, hospitals, and under-privileged classrooms throughout the country.
How awesome is that? Not only are they making our feet a little extra funky (in the good way!), they're spreading warmth and joy to those in need. That's my kind of company!
