Lazy Doggy Thursday

Can you believe another Dogs on Thursday has snuck up on us? Just where is all this time going?!?! Are days weeks are flying by, or is it just me??!! It seems like Halloween was only yesterday.... I'm normally just about done with my Christmas shopping by now, but this year I feel so unorganized and disconnected. I'm not even sure I'm going to put our tree up this year... partly because I just don't have the time, partly because it doesn't feel like holiday season and partly, well just because I'm so disconnected with this whole weekend of hell lingering on (thank you to those of you "in the know" for your kind thoughts & advice - I appologize to anyone else, who just gets to read my bitching & moaning here).

So, in light of my have-way-too-much-to-do and not-enough-time-in-the-month stressed out lifestyle lately, I give to you some very lazy doggy pictures... as I've noticed I've managed to snap quite a few in the past week (read: beware, picture heavy post)!

Hey, would you quit that snoring already?
(yes, little Sophie does snore... loudly)

Enjoy your doggy Thursday... and here's to accomplishing all that holiday shopping, cooking, baking, card writing, decorating, fussing, mussing, bitching, moaning and whatever else it is you do............ and btw, for those of you (mostly my family, friends are usually more kind, hee hee) that think I'm a bit too chatty sometimes, well check this out! Yes, that's right... I actually WON something for being chatty! I won Emily's surprise award in the Dish Rag Tag - how friggin cool!

Awe...I hope you get into the holiday season!! It can be hard with all the stress of the season as well but good luck.

The doggie pictures are so great. I love when Jackjack at 85 lbs curls up like that. He looks so innocent and cute.

Have a great day and Happy Dogs on Thursday!!

Hang in there. Try to take your puppy's leads. What happy mellow kiddles they are.

How sweet. I love the picture of Lola looking over her shoulder at Sophie. I can totally relate to that - my Tara snores, too.

Awe I think Sofie has found her a comfy spot in your house! She just may end up being #4 :)
Thanks for telling us about Gnat's blog contest. I have enjoyed reading her blog and getting to know her. She is a sweetheart.

I shoulda added cookies for the dogs! I am a terrible friend to animals! I'll take a box over to our new shelter (whenever it gets finished) in their honor to make it up to them.

The one of Lola and Sophie is so cute! Your dogs all look so cozy - the perfect way to be in this frigid weather we're having!

You are right, it just doesn't feel like Christmas, I'm with ya on that even though we have the decorations and tree up just doens't feel it!

I'm having trouble getting ready for Christmas, too. I do have my tree up, and it looks fab, but none of my other decorations, and I've never done that before. And not one thought has been given to gift buying.

This thing with my mom has really wiped me out, and you know how that is. She moved to a rest home today after 9-1/2 days in the hospital. Next Friday she is scheduled for knee replacement. Then rehab, maybe at this same rest home (thankfully, it is a VERY nice place), and hopefully she will then be able to go back to her apartment.

Meanwhile, everything else seems to be on the back burner.

Oh, Jayda snores, too!!

Take two Damitol and tell the world to go to *BEEP* for a few hours. Better yet, curl up on that couch and enjoy some fuzzy beast cuddles. That'll put anybody in a good mood!

Take care of yourself and try not to get too stressed. I've had years where the best I could do was to decorate the mantle and put up a 2' tabletop tree and you know what? We still ended up having a great Christmas day because, in the end, it's all about being with the ones you love.
