That's been one of his favorite poses for the camera lately. Well, when he's not being sat on by big sis Lola...
The girls have been hanging out a bunch lately... romping, wrestling, curling up together... they truly show sisterly love at its best!
Zeus is still recovering from his drunken martini incident, however we're happy to report that the big guy got his check up at the vet last week and is down to a whopping 112 pounds! Down to 112 from 146 just four years ago! Yes! and without any diet plan! I think it has to do with him being more active now that he's got his superman knee (he's much more playful... romping, chasing & jumping... than he had been for years) and also since we've switched to a much higher quality dog kibble (less crappy filler "food" and more real, actual good for you food). The vet is extremely happy with his slim, trim bod - she'd been wanting us to get extra weight off him to help those knees. In fact, she seems to think we might be able to get away with not having the second TPLO surgery. We're going to send him in for xrays in the next month or so to have it checked to see if the arthritis is getting any worse or not and see what the surgeon thinks... I think Zeus would be happy not to have to undergo a second surgery... I caught him giving me a "NO towel sling please!" look...
Not to take attention away from the furbaby children on their Doggy Thursday, but the radio station that I listen to all day at work is doing their annual "Mix Cares For Kids" radiothon for the Children's Hospital Boston today. If you can, please take a moment to read about it and maybe make a donation. This is one of the top children's hospitals in the world and they are known for never, ever turning anyone away... no matter their financial situation.
OK, back to the fluffy cuteness... enjoy the rest of your day!
Don't take her picture, take mine!

We tried to view the photos but they are private... :'-(
Diamond & Snoop
They are so cute! I love the 'take my picture' shot especially, reminds me of Charlotte & Wilbur...you can't pay attention to one without the other getting in on the action. :)
How do you get so many good pictures? I took 20 just to get the 4 I posted. Maybe your pups are just naturally photogenic.
Awe. Zeus is so cute. Abby has started sitting on Jackjack and I'm not sure how he feels abou tit.
They are all so adorable.
Give the babies a hug for Grover and me, please? They are so photogenic.
Hey Nic - great photos of the doggers today. I love those face shots - they are so expressive. g
Give all those adorable babies a big hug!
Love looking at your brood! Don't mind my Blogger sign-in... Evidently, Blogger and Wordpress aren't playing well together today.
Hooray for Zeus! It would be so great if he didn't have to have the other knee done. (Love the picture of Sophie licking her lips!)
So Zeus has had TPLO surgery? So has Roscoe. He loves to run after cars that pass by on the street. If he sees a neighbor starting to leave, he'll make two or three passes down the length of the yard barking at the top of his lungs before the car even clears the driveway. He ruptured his ACL ligament spinning around to make his turns. So far, we've been lucky that he seems to want to turn the same way each time, so he hasn't torn up the other one. I hope he doesn't.
Sorry to whine, but I'd like to have had a little more of the white stuff you got on Friday. Our winters get a little boring now that we don't get much snow any more.
