Rainy Day Knitting

Happy Fiber Arts Friday!  It's a cold, rainy day here in New Hampshire... quite perfect for knitting... something of which I haven't gotten to do too much of lately.  I need to kick it into high gear with holiday knits, and will be making these a priority...

Getting my #knit on! Lots of holiday gifts on the needles. #knitstagram #knitting #knitsofinstagram #yarn #fall

Like most knitters, I have quite an adventurous list of holiday knits I'd like to get through this year.  Of course, we'll see how many items I actually get checked off...

Back to the weather.  It's been raining here for eternity all week and it's really starting to get old fast!  Enough already... I want to get outside and play in the foliage!

How's the weather where you are?  Any great plans to play outside this weekend?  Whatever you are doing, I hope you enjoy it!  Oh, and a note to all the happy hookers out there who only stop by on FaF:  Check out the review I posted yesterday of Long-Legged Friends!  Since I don't crochet, this book will soon be going to live with my Mom, who I'm hoping will thank me with a Fluffy Poodle!

Happy Friday! We have had pretty nice fall weather here so far this week but I think it's going to rain this weekend! Tonight I am taking the kids on a hayride and we are going to shoot paintballs at zoombies! I can't believe how excited I am to do this!

Have a great weekend!

Cold rainy days were made for knitting with dogs on your feet to keep them warm.

It's been raining every other day for the past 2 weeks. Of course, that started the day after Dan got $5000 worth of flat roofing materials delivered here, with a crane to hoist them to the roof. So what he thought would be a week long job is still ongoing, and he needs probably 4 good days to get it done. Plus, the glue doesn't set under 45 degrees, so today was a no work day....ah, the good old Northeastern weather....how it messes with our plans! Have a great weekend, Nic!

I refuse to think about holiday knits...they will happen if they are meant to happen.

It's finally raining here today. It's been so terribly dry. Whatever that turquoise/brown thing is in your knitting basket...it's beautiful!
