One of my friends commented on a Facebook photo that the rescue and Penny didn't know how lucky she was to land in our home. Not to brag, but I know she's right. After all, it's not just Penny's own humans who are spoiling her. She received two gifts before she even arrived!
Our awesome friends over at Chewy sent a big box of puppy goodness...
While we have toys galore that Penny has
We used the Earthbath Hypo-Allergenic shampoo as soon as we got Penny home (if you've ever had the pleasure of picking up a 9 week old puppy from the doggy transport van, you know how much she needed a bath). I love the clean scent, all natural ingredients and the fact that it's so gentle and tearless. Penny was so stinky that I never even thought to get photos of her first bath... oops. But, this will be my go-to shampoo for the Lapdogs going forward.
The Earthbath Grooming Wipes are absolutely awesome and a must-have for any on-the-go doggy bag, or for at home when you need quick cleaning. I'll be using Earthbath wipes going forward as well and love that they come in a few different scents. It's rare for me to get so excited over grooming products, but with a brand new puppy, Earthbath products are proving to be a huge help! I noticed they also make ear wipes and tooth & gum wipes - both of which we'll be ordering from Chewy soon.
While I love that Penny is smelling fresh, she is much more interested in her new chew toys, which she absolutely loves! And, Mama loves that she loves them. (Yes, there's a lot of love going around)
She's been enjoying her Nylabone Teething Rings since day one... they were the very first toy I gave to her. We had only used the Nylabone chew bones in the past, and I must say... the puppy teething toys are not only absolutely adorable, they are pure genius!
I think the only thing she loves to chew on more than her teething rings are her Nylabone Teething Keys. She carries them all around the house, tripping over the keys as she drags them along. She is quite amusing, in all her puppy-clumsiness-glory. For some reason, I must be too busy laughing at her carrying the big keys around to have snapped many pictures. I'll have to work on that. We took the keys to her first race this past weekend and she happily chewed away on them all day long. They were always close by, even when she was napping.
The rubber pacifier from Nylabone is also a big hit. Sometimes it even doubles as a pillow for a tired puppy.
Penny is quite proud of her teething toys and I'm very proud to say that, so far, :::knocking on wood::: she has not chewed anything she's not supposed to!
She also received an adorable Kong Cozie Baily the Blue Dog, which for some reason I can't seem to find a photo of. I guess we've been a little busy playing and cuddling. Tut has also taking a liking to Baily and fortunately, Penny doesn't mind sharing. Well, except for her tiny little Blue Bits treats... which Penny wants everyone to know are the bomb!
A huge thank you to Sydney and all of our friends over at Chewy for welcoming Penny into their family, and for the best "new puppy" gift ever. Toys, treats and cleaning supplies... you sure know how to spoil a pretty little girl and help a tired Mama out!
The second package Miss Penny received, addressed to her, was from our friends over at Retro Rover (who just welcomed a 5lb baby boy to their family, hop over and say hi to Tuvok).
Penny loves her Planet Dog blanket buddy and she says thank you very much Miss Kate! She's cooking up a little something to send back to the retro pack...

YAY! I am so happy to see Penny is loving all her must haves! =) The Nylabone Teething toys are a household saver! You're adorable Penny and we are so lucky to be able to watch you grow up! Love Sydney and the Chewy family! <3
At our house we don't call that spoiled - we call that "loved" Isn't Chewy.com the absolute greatest? Enjoy her and please keep writing about her!
We agree with the GGs. Loved is the word. And we love it to bits and utter pieces.

My pups had some of those keys and thought they were wonderful. With eight pups they made a great group tug toy.
How sweet to get all those wonderful gifts for Penny! It sounds like she's adjusting very well. :)
I'm so glad she's settling in well. How nice of the Chewy folks to send her a baby box! I noticed the big blue stuffed dog in the first picture; it looks like a fun stuffie.
She's is sooooo cute. I love how tiny she looks with blanket buddy. I got the small one for Tuvok
