Caught on Video: Snow Dogs! #ThankfulThursday #DogsPlayingInSnow

Since it's Thankful Thursday, I thought I would take the opportunity to share more photos and videos of Penny's favorite thing in the whole wide world right now (well, next to tennis balls, sitting on her sister, wrestling with her brother and kissing her humans anyway)...

SNOW!

Doberman puppy loves the snow, winter snow storm, new England, dogs in snow #LapdogCreations

So many thought it was going to be a near snowless winter, but I kept saying, "Just wait."  After all, we live in New England where you can go to work in snow boots and a parka and come home in flip flops and a t-shirt.

We got quite a bit this past Friday. I let the dogs out after breakfast to this...

By mid-afternoon it looked like a Winter Wonderland...

You can really see the snow coming down during those last two video clips... and how fired up Penny was about it.  My girl just can't get enough! She eats it, chases it, romps in it... I'm starting to wonder if she thinks it's some new magical toy.

While this shot is far from perfect, I adore it. Penny's butt is up in the air, Sophie's ears are flopping every which way, and Tut had just slipped out of the camera view.

As you can see, Sophie and Teutul love snow too, but they also have their limitations.  Or, shall I say, they know when their feet get cold, it's time to come in and warm up for awhile!  Penny, on the other hand, would stay out there until she couldn't feel her feet if I let her.  She'll catch on eventually... I think.

Enjoy the rest of your Thursday!

Looks like they had a lot of fun in the snow. It sure didn't take long to pile up. Do they ever get tangled up?

What fun. You sure got a lot and the dogs look like they had a blast. Our snow has been pitiful this year. I am sure we will get more just as we are ready for spring.

The last time that we had no snow until late January, we had blizzards for Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day and Income Tax Day. The northeast is never safe until late April. I'm just glad the snow held off until I had a new roof; can you imagine this single digit weather under a tarp? Or what even 3" would have done to said tarp? Anyway, your video clips are adorable. Happy Snow, Penny and Friends!
