That's one thing I don't get; how many people buy a purebred dog only to breed them. I want a DOG, someone who will play in the dirt, chew grass, and shed all over my floor while loving me completely.
I don't want a prissy animal with a long pedigree; I want someone who is going to shake water all over the bathroom.
I read it twice as "15th annual spa day" I guess I could really use a trip to the spa.
I have had heated discussion with family members about not breeding their dogs. Yes, Lucy is a beautiful Rhodesian Ridgeback and Aspen is a gorgeous white Siberian Husky, but come on do you really need to add more puppies, when there are so many already here that need homes.
Yesterday, a woman I work with told me that her Golden just had puppies - a neighborhood Pit Bull is the father. It makes me so mad! Why couldn't she have gotten that dog fixed? I asked if she was going to get her dog fixed, but she said "No, it won't happen again"! Stupid, stupid, stupid!!!!!
Some time when I can do it without strangling her, I'm going to suggest the Spay/Neuter Clinic at our local SPCA. They're great - they have done all of my stray cats--except for the one I can't catch yet, but I haven't given up on him! Those hoo-hoos are coming off!
