Minties Dental Treats
Where to Find: MINTIES VET GRADE DENTAL TREAT, SMALL , 10 TREATS (PACK OF 2)
I am always looking for dental treats for my pack and healthy treats for dogs are essential in the Lapdog household, so I was more than happy when we were recently asked to review Minties Dental Treats from VetIQ. I've seen Minties advertised quite a bit lately, especially on TV, so I was eager to learn more.
Minties are a vet grade complete oral health treat for dogs. The green bones help to maintain healthy teeth & gums, freshen breath, and remove plaque & tarter. Made in the USA with no wheat, soy, corn or gluten, Minties are easily digestible as well! Additionally, there are no artificial flavors or animal by-products.
Minties are available in 4 sizes to accommodate all dogs:
-
Tiny, for dogs 3-9 lbs, 22 count bag
-
Small, for dogs 10-19lbs, 10 count bag
-
Medium, for dogs 20 - 39lbs, 6 count bag
- Large, for dogs 40lbs plus, 4 count bag
We received the Large size for review and all 4 of the Lapdogs crunched them up with ease. It's safe to say they thoroughly enjoyed these treats and didn't even realize they were "brushing" their teeth in the process!
The folks at VetIQ, makers of healthy pet products, also sent us a bag of their Skin & Coat vet grade formula omega-3 chews. The chews are Made in the USA with Vitamins A & E for soft skin, Biotin for a shiny coat and Omega-3's for a healthy heart. The Lapdogs all loved these tasty little chews!
We will surely be adding both Minties and Skin & Coat to our regular treat rotation!
Disclosure: Two bags of Minties and one bag of Skin & Coat treats were sent to Lapdog Creations, free of charge for review purposes. I was not compensated for this review and all opinions expressed are my own. This post may contain affiliate links. Those Minties are new to us and they do sound good Happy 4th!
Whether human or canine, it's always great to have a treat for our kids that's also good for them! That's a great color on the Minties, too!
Koly & Fe love mint flavoured treats. They don't get chews like this anymore, since they can't have grain and most dental chews aren't grain free, but back before we discovered their food intolerance, they were a huge hit. Thanks for joining in Tasty Tuesday!
sounds like a great treat, have a great holiday

Bought these treats for my new two rescue Chihuahua's who have teeth. The bigger of the two 8lbs, ate one and upon other times after, would take one but not eat it..Leaving it for the littler one 6lbs, to eat. She had two in a 2 day period and became sick, didn't eat her breakfast. I think the concept is a good one, don't think they are good for little dogs.
