Duck, Duck Goose... Part 2!

Happy Friday! It's kind of like dejavu around here.  Last night I spotted the same family of geese on my way home.  Of course I had to stop again and take more photos.

It's as if we're becoming friends...

Aren't the adorable?  I noticed the woman who's lawn they were on last week didn't quite think so.  She was making weird cackling noises out her window at them when they crossed the road onto her lawn last night.  At least I think she was cackling at them and not me!

My blogger posting layout has changed a little.  This box is now much more high-tech than the old form.  Hopefully that means it's easier to place photos and text... (ETA: nope, it's more of a PITA than anything...)

I'll leave you today with the usual Friday Fill-Ins...

1. Charlotte, NC is my favorite place to travel to.

2. When I think about my childhood, I often remember my Nana.

3. Loyalty makes for a good friend.

4. The wind in the trees, the rain on my skin, time to run inside!

5. Coming upon an entire family of geese on the side of the road is so exciting!

6. My best friend knows that I don't hide my true feelings.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to a great night with friends, tomorrow my plans include knitting and Sunday, I want to see the first kart race of the season... that is, if we don't get rain!

Enjoy your weekend and remember, always look two ways before crossing the road!

Cackling? She was cackling? A bit scarey to say the least.

lol I enjoy our geese. Granted, they do leave a mess, but being able to watch them from my window is worth it. :)

Speaking of geese, there's about 30 of them in my back yard right now. lol They just came in off the lake to eat.

I like geese as long as they don't invade my space. Fun that those keep coming to visit!

Look how they have grown in just a week! Precious little things!

Thanks for the smile - we don't see too many geese in our street. I hope your knitting experience turned out better than one of my recent attempts - all I had to do was a 20cm square - turned out 26 x 23 cm - I don't know how that happened!
