Monday Mischief

Happy Monday!  I may be the only person who woke up this morning and posted on Facebook about what a great recovery day this is.  We had a very busy, fun weekend, but somewhere along the line I think I picked up a little bug.  It's nice to not have to do anything outside of the house today... although I did just lug all of the potted plants back on the deck.  I'm hoping that Mother Nature cooperates and I only have to drag them in and out for a couple more days... they're getting heavy!

Of course, the Lapdogs think this is absolutely awesome... as they continue to run in and out from the sunroom to the deck all day.  The most chaotic part is the initial opening of the back door. First up is the contest to see which dog can push and shove their way to the door first and which can announce to the neighborhood dogs that they are king/queen of the deck first.  This is followed by Mama lugging the heavy pots in and out through a small open space as four happy dogs run full speed back and forth.... Happy Monday Mischief

Fortunately, you get the calmer side of things in photos.  We actually had a little photo shoot out there on Friday, but I still have to download the camera shots.  In the meantime, my girls show you how they like spending their afternoons on the deck... thanks to Instagram!

This shot is from our visit to the dog park yesterday to meet up with Harper and her family.  More photos to come later this week... but check out who the laziest dogs were at the park!

"Laziest" is not quite right; I would say "most meditative" :)

Keep on wagging,

Beautiful pictures. I can just imagine those dogs almost knocking each other off their feet trying to get to the outside. HH has trouble staying upright sometimes when the boys are in a furry to get to their dishes.

Have a great day.

Those are great photos. What kind of harness are the girls wearing? They look nice and strong, yet comfy.

Great shots! I can just about imagine how it is with those guys racing for the door!

The laziest dogs were probably also the happiest.

They tell us not to plant until after May 1 to avoid frost danger, so it's probably not great for your plants to be outside overnight just yet! But at least it entertains the Lapdogs to help you take them out.

This weather has just been crazy! I am so hesitant to buy any flowers because I don't want to lug them in and out!

I love that first picture! Gorgeous. The stampede in and out of the house sounds like our house, except for 4 cats and 1 chihuahua. lol

Those are some great pictures. The dog park sounds like fun, but unfortunately my guide dog puppy, Apache is not allowed to go to dog parks because of his strict guide dog rules :(

I can just see them all stampeding to see who gets outdoors first!

Love the photos!
