Paying it Forward

Did anyone watch last night's episode of Extreme Makeover Home Edition? It was our "hometown" episode... with the family living only about 15 - 20 minutes away. While we don't know the family, it sure felt like they were old friends after all the local coverage back in October when the show was here and again the past week leading up to the airing of the show.

Anyway, apart from the localness of the show last night, one thing that really stuck out in the theme all night long was Paying It Forward. Have you noticed the "Pay It Forward" button on the right side of my blog (as well as on many other wonderful bloggers)?
I signed up in August, with the promise to pay it forward within 6 months, meaning by the end of February. I've been contemplating what to make for the 2 wonderful ladies over the past few weeks and last night's show really got my brain thinking. I get to send some kindness along to Ally and Criquette. If either of you ladies have some specific wish list items in mind, feel free to let me know... I have some ideas, but your input would be great too!

Whether you're doing a fun little swap like this or not, please remember to keep Paying It Forward in life..... it truly is an amazing concept that is not at all hard to follow!

You just reminded me I need to get my Pay It forwards in the mail. I already know what they are getting and I've started but not finished them yet. I guess that can be my goal for february. Hope you are having a great day!!

I watched it too. I know the mother, she works with my brother. I've only talked to her briefly though.

Hey Nichole! I think it would be great if you just surprised me. I like surprises. Thanks for me when the deadline is for this project. I better get busy with mine too! Have a great week.

You've been tagged ;) Check back to today's post on my blog

I also need to make my PIF gifts
Having that show near you must have been really neat! I missed it this week, I was traveling back from a weekend of skiing at Okemo.

Hi, Nichole, I'm back. Thanks for asking, but I've seen some of your knitting and I'm sure I'd love anything you wanted to make. Take care and hug the pups!
