Football Sunday #BlackAndWhiteSunday
We hope everyone has had a wonderful long weekend with family and friends. Monday morning will be here before we know it, so do something fun today...
Even if that means just chilling on the couch watching football, eating leftovers, and cuddling with your furbabies (sounds like a perfect Sunday to us).

Black & White Sunday: Go Pats - Penny is Game Ready!
Happy Christmas weekend Sunday! Are you playing with all of your new toys today? Reading new books? Knitting with new yarn? Maybe (and this is for those of you who were really good this year) watching football on a new TV?
No matter what you're doing, Penny hopes you're rooting for her Patriots this afternoon!
Does this hat make my head look big?
Go PATS.... beat those j-e-t-s!

Wordless Wednesday + Teutul Update
Happy rainy Hump Day. Before we get wordless, I wanted to give a quick update on Tut. He's had some more vomiting, still refuses to eat kibble, and just seems to be a little off. Although you certainly wouldn't know it from this photo taken of him at the v-e-t just a couple hours ago.

Yes, we returned to the vet's office this morning and had to see yet another doctor, as both Dr. C and the vet we saw on Monday were off (and I show up with the happy, smiling "sick" dog). Fortunately, my vet's office has several great ladies who work there! Dr. B said they've been seeing a lot of GI issues lately and isn't quite sure if it's attributed to weather/allergies or what. She suggested we start with doing some blood work (including adding on the pancreatic test) and giving him subcutaneous fluids. While Tut seemed well hydrated on the outside, she suspected he likely had subclinical dehydration. My boy also got a famotidine injection and was sent home with an antibiotic. We'll be giving him FortiFlora once a day as well (which is rather perfect timing, as we're teaming up with our friends at Chewy to tell you more about this great probiotic in the month of October!). Fingers crossed the fluids do the trick of jump starting his GI track back to normal. Continued Power of the Paw requests, please...
And now, let's get wordless!

Monday Mischief: NASCAR Style
We're not quite sure where the weekend went, but the calendar says it's Monday. It was an exhausting (but, yes, fun) weekend for the humans. The lapdogs think there must have been some mischief going on yesterday, since they weren't home to facilitate the daily critter watching. Instead, they were doing this...

Yup, they were at that racing thing again. The Lapdogs' Daddy was invited to take part in the US Legends Invitational Race before the big NASCAR race yesterday in New Hampshire. And as much as the Lapdogs think we gave away all of their Casey Jones Bones, that is not quite true. Yes, we gave away a whole bucket full of samples, but those are supposed to be given out to race fans, thanks to our fabulous sponsor (and not to worry Teutul, we have plenty of CJB at home for you and your siblings)!
After our race was over, we got to have some fun. Besides meeting and greeting hundreds of new race fans (Matt literally had a line in our pit area for quite awhile after the race), we got to take in all the NASCAR fun as well. We caught the very end of the Recycled Percussion pre-race concert...
Then took a leisurely stroll down pit road...

Just after the big race started, I had the pleasure of bumping into the honorary pace car driver... Julian Edelman!
For those of you who are not football fans, that's New England Patriots Wide Receiver, Julian Edelman! Yup, I went to a NASCAR race and managed to meet one of my favorite NFL'ers! And, yes, that's my quick Instagram pic of a pic from last night because I still have to sit down and download my real-camera pics. (not-so-great-hair side note: I had finally just given in to the hot sun and put a hat on, thinking all of the pictures were done for the day... darn it)
Less than 2 minutes after my Edelman encounter, this happened right in front of where we were standing...
Then we got a very up-close look when they brought Jimmy's car off the track and switched it from the tow-truck to a flat-bed.
