Busy Weekends...

I know I'm not the only one watching the weekends disappear quickly fill up as spring blooms, but we have had a couple of busy ones here! I've just now had the chance to actually download some photos...

April 18th was our friends' wedding, with the rehearsal dinner the night before (Matt was in the wedding).

Congrats Eric & Shannon who went from this... to Mr & Mrs!

The guys snazzied-up pretty nicely too...

We used the not-typical-attire occassion to have our own little photo shoot get a few new pics... which I'm sure our parents will be glad to have.

I can't decide which one I like, so here's another for good measure...

This past weekend was racing practice, which means we will soon be busy most Sundays.... but not all Sundays like usual, as the track has scaled back their schedule a bit due to the economy.

We're happy to have some old friends back at the track to race this year... which should make the summer a little more fun! Welcome back Nate and Andrew!

You may notice that I have no knitting update photos. While I did not bring my knitting to the wedding or reception, thank you very much, I did bring my knitting to racing on Sunday but never got it out. That will change soon! I just noticed an heirloom Bride's Bag pattern this past week in the new Interweave Knits and thought why the heck didn't I think of that for Shannon? My knitting brain has been a little foggy lately... so you will please excuse me, no?
