Up Your Chew Game with #Flavorit + GIVEAWAY

I've yet to meet a dog who doesn't love to chew, whether it be on something they're supposed to chew, or on something they're not. Of course it's our job as pet parents to focus their energy on those "to chew" things, but we also need to be sure we're providing them with the right chew.

Teutul thinks all dogs will love Flavorit chews - a unique non-eEdible #dogchew made in the USA #Flavorit #LapdogCreations ©LapdogCreations

Just as all dogs are not created equal, all chews are not suitable for all dogs. Some dogs are more aggressive chewers than others, and some are more destructive than others. Antlers and bones may crack a heavy chewer's teeth, while some edible chews may only keep them occupied for a few minutes.

Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Pet Qwerks. I am being compensated for helping spread the word about Flavorit bones, but Lapdog Creations only shares information we feel is relevant to our readers. All opinions expressed here are my own. Pet Qwerks is responsible for the giveaway prizes.

Non-Edible, Long Last Dog Chews

With a multi-dog household, I'm always on the lookout for options that are well suited to our entire pack, which includes a one-year-old energetic pup and two senior hounds. Non-edible chew bones tend to be a good fit for all of them, as they aren't as hard on senior teeth as some other options.

My dogs prefer nylon chews over rubber ones, so as soon as I heard about the new Flavorit™ chews from Pet Qwerks, I knew we had to try them.

Up Your Dog's Chew Game with Flavorit chews from Pet Qwerks #dogchew #Flavorit #LapdogCreations ©LapdogCreations

Flavorit chews are truly unique and like no other bone they have had before. They are made in the USA from 100% nylon, infused with tasty flavors, and engineered for aggressive chewers. But that's not the unique part....

Flavor Cells

In addition to the flavor infused into the bones, Flavorit chews feature flavor cells molded into both sides of the chew. You simply fill the cells with your dog's favorite spreadable treat and instantly create an amazing tasty chew that your dog will drool over.

Flavorit takes dogs chews to a new level thanks to unique Flavor Cells #MadeinUSA #DogChew #Flavorit #LapdogCreations ©LapdogCreations

I've been putting peanut butter on ours, and while I don't think the Lapdogs mind, I'm sure they'll love it even more when I start using some other tasty treats like cream cheese, mashed potatoes, yogurt, smashed bananas, apple sauce, and cottage cheese. You can even make a custom blend by mixing herbs, peas, cooked chicken or salmon, or bacon into one of the spreads. The options are pretty much endless, just use your imagination...

I'm sure many of your are wondering, "How the heck do I clean all those tiny little holes?"  No worries.  Flavorit chews can be cleaned with hot soapy water and a brush, or you can place them in the top rack of your dishwasher.  My dogs have done an excellent job with cleaning them on their own, but I've found a toothpick works great for any stubborn food left behind in the cells.

When it comes to the flavor infused chew itself, there are several flavors to choose from:
  • Chicken
  • Peanut Butter
  • Sweet Potato
  • Breath (mint)
  • Berry
There is also a Flavorit Flex, which, as the name implies, is a flexible chew. It is available in:
  • Flex Bacon
  • Flex Breath (mint)
  • Flex Peanut Butter
Both versions are available in four convenient sizes:
  • Small - up to 15lbs
  • Medium - up to 30lbs
  • Large - up to 50lbs
  • XLarge - over 50lbs

When picking out your flavors and styles, keep in mind that the original Flavorit was designed for aggressive chewers, while the Flex is intended for moderate chewers.

The Lapdogs enjoy all of the flavors, however Teutul and Penny seem to prefer the peanut butter and sweet potato, while Sophie tends to pick the berry first.

Key Benefits of Flavorit

Flavorit chews are a non-edible chew made in the USA and designed for aggressive chewers #DogChew #Flavorit #LapdogCreations ©LapdogCreations

As with any non-edible chew, you should always supervise your dog while chewing. While the chews are pretty sturdy, it is possible for pieces to break off. Tiny flakes may be ingested, but larger pieces should not. If you notice any larger pieces coming off or damage of concern, remove the chew right away.

Flavorit chews have received all paws up from the Lapdogs, as well as a big thumbs up from the humans. I love that they are Made in the USA and available in a variety of flavors, not to mention that they keep my dogs happily occupied. They love chewing and getting the extra spreadable treat.

I think my dog would love the flavor cells!

Several of my dogs enjoy chewing but I think Bailey and Mackey would like these as a challenge to remove every bit of the flavor. Those two are power chewers that stick with a project.

I have two big chewers who would love these! Are you able to freeze them? I feel like they'd last longer for my two if I popped them in the freezer :)

My aggressive chewers would like these chews because they may actually get to savor the flavor. They annihilate edible chews too quickly to truly enjoy them!

These might just work for Bebop. He's got really powerful jaws, and destroys everything fast. Of course, Tank likes to chew, too, always taking the squeakers out of his toys and shredding rawhide bones as fast as he can.

I know my dogs would love the Flavorit. They are both chewers and especially when I add peanut butter. I need to try the cream cheese!

Nola would love it, especially the little holes!

Ruby is a moderate chewer so I definitely she would prefer the Flex either the bacon or peanut butter flavor. Very cool that there are options for aggressive and moderate chewers!

Ooo, I think my dog would love these. He would probably like the PB one the best - of course smothered in PB like you did!

Pretty clever idea. Though I'm not a fan of non-edible chews.

My pack loves peanut butter so I think that would be their choice. I know they would love these!

I'm also looking for chew easy for seniors to chew and digest. They love the flavors sweet potato and peanut butter so this brand looks like an awesome choice- I'll go and see where they're in PDX or I'll grab them online.

They look fantastic but I know that Missy would just hide them and not chew them as if it does not fall apart she gets bored LOL

I don't have a dog, but I think these chews are so cool! What a great idea you had - using a toothpick to get food out of the small cells. I am sure whichever dog wins will really love their prize!

i think they would like they last a long time, it would be easy on their teeth, and they would love the peanut butter and sweet potato flavors.

Love that these have holes in them for flavour - Saw them on twitter looking rather 'plastic' & assumed they were like a nasty flavoured bone my dog just looked at & disregarded. The advice you give re infusing them with yummy spreads will make them extra attractive. Given the inclusion of Peanut Butter, I'd recommend you put in a mention/*warning re xylitol or link to a separate blog advising readers on the best peanut butter product to use.

My dogs would love a peanut butter flavor bone! They would like the yummy flavors and I would like a fun toy lasts!

Zora is an average chewer but Simon is a master, like Olympic level chewer, and Piper is right behind him so we are always looking for durable, safe chew toys! Love the idea of flavor cells. I'm thinking the peanut butter or sweet potato would be big hits, though I might like them all to have the mint versions ;-)

Lindsay Pevny said...

I love that I could probably durable enough that I wouldn't have to watch my dog closely when she chews them, she's not a crazy chewer, but edible bones can be risky. Bacon would probably be a hit at my house!

These seem like great chews! My cat wouldn't be interested, but my mom's 4 senior dogs would love them. If I win, I will definitely be giving these to mom. :)

My mom's dog would be very interested in this. He loves to chew, but we have to watch him closely because he tends to be very aggressive when chewing.

Simba would love the flavors and to drool all over it! These look so cool and love they are affordable too.

I think a tough , long lasting chew would definitely keep Mollie interested, many of her toys do not stand up to those jaws!

These sound great! I have some power-chewers here and am very picky about what I give them for safety sake. I think my Huskies would love the flavor infusions as well as having some yummy spread on them. Thanks for the great review and for hosting the giveaway!

Hi Nichole, I was unable to locate the PIN when entering the contest. I searched for it on Pinterest and on Google but no results came up. Is it working? Maybe I'm just doing it incorrectly:
