Two questions. Who doesn't have a skein of Cascade 220 in their stash? Who wouldn't want a copy of 60 Quick Knits in their knitting library?

With its low price and superior quality, Cascade 220 has long been one of the most popular yarns in the world. In fact, it currently ranks #1 on Ravelry.com. Affordability, quality worsted weight wool, excellent yardage and endless colors are just a few of the many reasons why Cascade 220 has such a devoted following.

60 Quick Knits is a delightful collection of hat, scarf and mitten patterns for everyone from beginners to seasoned knitters. The designs are what I would call "classically current" - you'll find fingerless mitts and fun hats, but nothing that is going out of style next week! Whether you're looking to knit something for yourself or for a gift, you'll find a design that fits - a monkey hat for your favorite little one, fair aisle mittens for your Mom or a mitered scarf for your best friend - they're all here. You will definitely not be lacking gift making inspiration!

Some of my favorite patterns include... Scalloped-Edge Beanie, a tight fitting lacey feminine number; Cables & Wraps Scarf, with its ancient Egyptian motifs this is sure to get you a few "oohs" and "aahs;" Puppy Mittens, need I say more?; Textured Tam, a beautiful beret with cables and double moss stitch; Lion Scarf, a ferociously cute scarf that I can not wait to make!

Whether you're knitting for yourself or gifts, 60 Quick Knits will surely keep your needles clicking. This is a must-add to the knitting library!

I have fourteen skeins at the moment! Three for a stocking, three for hats, six for felted bags, and two just because I liked the color. ;)

It makes great socks, and felts like a dream.

I love the idea of being able to make all of these cute things. I do not believe I have any of the yarn in my stash. I really should have a better inventory of the yarns of do have. Not sure what my favorite color would be. I love every color from brights to pastels. By the way, for those of you reading these posts, Nichole helped me to get started knitting. I still have issues, but I thank her many times over for getting me interested in knitting. Karen R.

Two leftover from something or other. A new hat and scarf sound like a good idea, especially if this weather hangs around.

How many skeins??? An embarrassing amount, I'm afraid. I didn't realize how much I had until we packed all of it up. ::blushes::

I have around 25, plus some partial skeins. Some of it is supposed to be turning into more felted bags, but I have been toying with the idea of hats and mittens for winter outer-wear donations.

I have one very pink skein I was going to use for a felted heart-shaped bowl for Valentine's Day. I always have more ideas than time and didn't make it. But if I win the book, I know where I can get more in a hurry, at our local yarn store!

Oh wow... let me see... I think at this point I have about 35-40 skeins including quattro, superwash and paints! I have lots of purples and reds, then some onesie twosies of black, off white, green that was intended for projects that haven't happened yet. The bulk of it will be for a sweater for my daughter and felted bags for us! I consider 220 as my "go to" yarn when I want durability, long life and fun colors. (usually for my kids). I'm so excited about this book! I can't wait!

I have 11 full skeins and about 6 partials. My favorite sweater- a Wonderful Wallaby- is knit with Cascade plum.

I have a blue and a grey. Can you say baby blanket for that Kiwi treasure on the way, maybe? (But two skeins isn't enough... a sweater for him, maybe?)

i've got a navy blue, some black, white and some red. they're for various projects - i love the mittens on the cover. i'd make those first and then make my way thru the book

I have none in my stash because I used it all up in one of my favorite sweaters, which I made in teal. I'd love some greys for another sweater or for a vest.

I currently have around 30 skeins of Cascade 220 in my stash. I have been using Cascade 220 since I started knitting and have a few superwash and some Eco wool as well. By far my favorite yarn and the first thing I go to when i go to the yarn store! I love pretty much all the colorways so its too hard for me to pick one! I would love to be able to try some of the handpaints but my LYS doesnt carry them. I am cindyv19 on Ravelry!

I think I have about 6, in a variety of colors. Just finished a Wicked sweater in brown which only took 3 skeins. I love Cascade 220!

something less than 49 skeins: I counted the pics I have in my Ravelry stash but some of them have minimal amounts left, and some I forgot to enter on my project pages from stash so the 'amount remaining' isn't strictly true..... but then, one never has enough and am trying something new from Cascade monthly!

Total number...um...who knows! In immediate sight I have 5 skeins. And that's not even the main bulk of my stash, that's just on the coffee table in the living room! I *love* Cascade 220 and would love to get this nifty little book.

I have 8 skeins of Cascade 220 in my stash at the moment (and a variety of other Cascade yarns too!)

5 of those are being put to use on a scarf a friend requested (yeah, it's a *long* scarf!).
The other 3 were purchased because they're *beautiful* (and on sale - can't beat sale prices!), though I don't yet have a project in mind for them.

(Tweetyiscool29 on Ravelry if anyone wants to peek at which ones I have and/or view the scarf ;D)

I only have scraps left in my stash right now, but that's because I recently knit two sweaters and one vest out of 220

Cascade 220? None. Zero. Zilch. Isn't that sad? I've never tried it. 99.999999% of my stash is sock yarn, with a few skeins of cotton sportweight for baby projects.

I have 5 right now. I made my first purchase for the hermit crab from Amigurumi Knits. I became a Facebook fan as soon as I got home from the store. What lovely yarn, fantastic colors. I'm in love.
