Penny's Gotcha Day Anniversary

Wasn't it just yesterday, that I was asking if it had really been a whole year already? It sure seems like it...

and now we're celebrating the second anniversary of Penny's Gotcha Day!

As I mentioned last year (be sure to click through to that post if you haven't already - it's full of cute puppy-goodness), Penny may not have grown into the "big girl" that we had expected, but she's got a heart of gold and a personality that's larger than life.

She loves her humans and her canine siblings more than anything, and she makes new friends everywhere she goes... especially at the race track, which is like a second home to her. She's been going with us to cheer on her Daddy since she was 10 weeks old.

Penny still loves to work and she is excelling at nose work training. Spring snow kept us from participating in her first trial, but we hope to do one really soon. We're also looking forward to going after some titles in the AKC Trick Dog program. Considering she taught herself "crawl" and "rollover" in puppy training, the Tricks program is right up her alley!
