Chucky, Chucky, Chucky...

Happy Dogs on Thursday!

I went "swap shopping" for the pals I get to spoil a little yesterday and happened upon 2 of the most adorable tea cups for myself. I am pretty positive they are both Rachael Hale photographs too - and you all know how much I love her work! They are china and even came with the cutest little spoons (not sure they'll actually be useful for anything, but they are cute).

With the cooler temps this week, we've seen lots more critter activity, including lots of Chucky sightings, which cause chaos in our house and send 3 dogs in to a tizzy to race from window to window, crying and carrying on... Sometimes I'm quick enough to snap a pic, as in the case of Zeus & Teutul here...

Lola_cute807Lola wanted to remind you to pick up your 2008 NASCAR Pets Calendar if you haven't already. They make great gifts for the NASCAR fans and pet lovers on your holiday shopping list! Proceeds from the calendar benefit the Greg Biffle Foundation. Founded in 2005 by Greg Biffle & Nicole Lunders, the foundation strives to create awareness and serve as an advocate to improve the well-being of animals by engaging the power and passion of the motorsports industry. The foundation donates to local Humane Societies, no-kill animal shelters, spay and neuter clinics and animal adoption leagues.

At my house it is the squirrels that drive them bonky. Hopping from limb to limb, running along the top of the fence. I know they hope one falls off.

Yup. They do get more active and inquisitive in the fall don't they?

You got quite a pack there! I remember the days we had three dogs ... instead of "I'm home", we said "I'm back at the zoo."

Squirrels drive my dogs crazy too, especially the pug. But then he also chases leaves and butterflies and his own shadow ....

What a coincidence! We had a groundhog in the yard today that made Gracie go bonkers. BTW - her kitty friends were both adopted at the same time, but weren't from the same litter. All three are total buddies though.

Oh my goodness! It's been a long time since I have seen a woodchuck, he is a cutie too!
Any animal activity in our yard causes Elise to go nuts!

The supreme nerve of that Chucky to invade your territory! You did right to tell him who's boss!

You'll probably think I'm nuts, but I think Chucky is kind of cute!! I don't think we have those critters in our parts--just gophers and groundhogs.

So for my pups, it's the squirrels. If we ask, "Do you see a squirrel?", the goofballs are off and running to check out the fence.

Tee-hee!! You know, I wondered about that groundhog/woodchuck thing, but they LOOK so different than that pic of yours!

Hmmm.... and to think that I teach science to people's children! Kinda makes you wonder, don't it??

Love the pic of the dogs looking out the window! A lot of people walk their dogs by our house and Frisky will usually bark a greeting to them. There's one dog in particular that he dislikes for some reason and he goes NUTS when that one goes by. Once he even fell off the back of the chair. I love how your dogs seem like the best of buddies :)

I send Murphy out to terrorize a neighbor's cat who is killing my chipmonks. Way cute Chucky!

Think the foundation will neuter Michael Vick? I'd donate a lot of money for that.

Abbie does the same thing when she spies a rabbit - crying and howling and carrying on like nobody's business. Then Chloe gets in on the act, but usually she doesn't have a clue why they're carrying on!

Cute, CUTE cups!

Mugsy wanted to squirrel hunt yesterday. One brazen little dude strutted across the deck, and it was cute watching Mugsy dance and whine on the other side of the sliding glass door.
