Cape Clogs Wooly
Where to Find: Cape Clogs
Okay ladies, who doesn't love new shoes? With my favorite season (aka fall) quickly approaching, I jumped at the chance to review a pair of Cape Clogs. After all, what doesn't look cuter with a pair of jeans and long sleeve tee than a great pair of clogs? I chose the Wooly style, in the brand new Midnight color/pattern.
Based out of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Cape Clogs is a leading designer and distributor of fashion forward Swedish clogs that exude personality and youthful energy thru vivid signature prints. Cape Clogs are handmade; therefore no two pairs are exactly alike. They are actually made in the same manner as they were back in the 70's! The soles are made of alderwood, a hard but fragile material, then the rubber soles are glued onto them. I think this combination of handmade construction and the type of materials used makes for a lovely, rustic look. Due to those same reasons, Cape Clogs provides care instructions and tips on their web site (see about us, then clog construction & instructions) that you should be aware of before making a purchase. With proper care, Cape Clogs can last you a lifetime!
As you will see when you visit their site, there are many styles and prints of Cape Clogs available! After pondering over a few styles, I went with Wooly because I loved the cozy look of the wool fiber upper. Of course, then I still had to ponder which color/pattern to choose. I settled on Midnight, a navy colored wool with tan/brown leafy pattern, because I thought they would be a perfect addition to my fall/winter wardrobe.... and boy was I right! These look absolutely fabulous with jeans!
As mentioned above, I love pairing a great pair of clogs with my jeans in the fall and on non-snowy winter days. This was my first exposure to Cape Clogs and although I haven't had too many opportunities to wear them yet, I adore them. There's something extra special about that handmade, rustic style. The one thing I noticed when I first put them on was they seemed a little tight across the top of my foot. I was told they would loosen up with wear, and that they have!
So, are you a clog lover at heart or still not sure you're sold on the style? Check out these fun reasons why you should wear clogs...

Woof! Woof! You always have the coolest giveaway. My mom would LOVE to join. She LOVEs Clogs ... n wants to get a new one. We currently moved to a temporary home so we picked the flower style: lkebana. Soooooo cool n cute. Hope we win!!! Lots of Golden Thanks n Woofs, Sugar
These are wonderful. I used to have a pair of black leather that I lived in, but they got lost in one of our moves.
How to choose!! My faves in no order are the suedes, Scottish Tartan, Spring Bouquet, Gerber Daisy and Macintosh.
Since I'm from Central NY where Macintosh apples grow and I'm writing this on a Macintosh computer, I guess that would be my choice.
Wooly - Midnight
Those would match almost everything I own!
Oh Clogs, how I love thee! Alas, my hubby thinks they are clunky. He just doesn't understand. That being said, I love the Dala Sky Blue with braid detail and higher heel, and the midnight wooly. They remind me of Fall in New England - a little piece of back home. <3
What a great giveaway!! I must say I really like "Bikini". Not only are they super cute but what a fabulous name! I'm a total beach girl so these just seem to fit :)
Thank you for opening world to Cape Clogs! I have loved clogs forever and even have a special pair from Sweden I got almost 20 years ago! My favorite Cape Clog is by far Leopard print! I must have these!!! How cute would this look with jeans?! Thank you again and have a great weekend! Joanne

I love clogs too. I think at the moment, the semi-soft red speaks to me, but I really wish the plaid they show in the children's were available in an adult size!
I follow you. I like the skulls or the Dala black.
Love these so much! Used to wear the Dr. Scholls years ago, lol he rainbow ones and the midnight wooly ones cuz I wear jeans a lot!
Oh fun! I really like the Personality "Cityscape" clogs! Great post about wearability, etc. Thank you!!
