Its Fair Season

Its that time in New England... fall is in the air and its fair season! The Hopkinton State Fair is a Labor Day weekend tradition, which we did not miss this year. I've finally gotten the photos off of the camera and hope you enjoy this picture heavy post...

This first shot is one of my favorites... its a huge white ox. Most of the other ox pictures came out too dark or dusty... but the bit of sunlight worked in my favor for this one.

This guy was one of my faves. He just sat there, posing for the camera...

This one reminded me of Lola with the big smile and "scratch me!" look...

I found baby piggies... sleeping and romping!

There were cuddling critters...

Look at that fleece (sadly, no ... there was no yarn for sale at the fair, which I've never quite understood)!

Sheep2

It was a great day at the fair... shots are missing of the delicious buffalo cheesesteak sandwiches and maple cotton candy, but here's one more cutie-patootie for you... BOO!

Oh great! I'm going to have to use the child safety locks to keep 'Nita in the car as we travel through farm country this weekend... ;) Cute photos!

Wouldn't you think they'd do shearing and spinning demonstrations at a fair? I love to wander thru the barns, too.

Good LORD! Look at the size of that ox! You can just see the huge muscles on it's leg in the picture.
