Happy 1/11/11

Happy 1/11/11!  As we sit here awaiting another potential blizzard to hit later today through tomorrow, I decided it would be a good time to finally share some photos from the post-Christmas Blizzard (which, by the way, was the best kind because we didn't have anywhere to go for two days and were happy to be housebound)...

The snow had begun to fall on Sunday, Dec 26 and continued straight through Monday...

Pretty ice formed inside the front door...

Here's Zeus, peeking out the ice covered door... I'll save the doggy snow romping photos for Dogs on Thursday...

Enjoy your 1/11/11 ... and please send some good vibes to our dear friend Sissy, she had eye surgery yesterday and is at home resting up.

We got about an inch yesterday, not really enough to play in. I think Tsar wants to come spend the winter with you.

We only got 3" in the post-Christmas storm, but my son's flight to Phoenix was cancelled because he was scheduled to fly though NYC, so we got him rebooked thru Detroit the next day. The ripple effects are amazing! We're only supposed to get about 3" from the next storm, too, and I'm not one to complain. I just hope it comes late enough to get a 2 hour delay for Ryan's school! Anyway, happy 1/11/11 - I love number patterns, too!

I don't want more snow. I didn't even take any pics from that last storm, just cause I HATE snow. haha.

We're home tomorrow for Day 3. I'm starting to think this stuff is never gonna go away.
