Spring To-Do's

Once again, I had planned a few reviews for this week, but the weather has not been cooperating for my photo shoots.  Sure, I could review the products without cute outdoor shots, but I'd rather wait.  So... Happy Ten on (another Rainy) Tuesday!  Today's topic is Ten Items on Your Spring To-Do List.  I tried to make my list more creative than all about housework...

1. Get the tomato plants potted that the Lapdogs got me for Mommy's Day.

2. Get the strawberry plants potted that I picked up today.

3. Keep my container garden alive and growing! (so far, so good)

4. Make a pizza on the grill.  I've been dying to do pizza on the grill....

5. Clean the oven.

6. Give the Lapdogs their spring baths.

7. Finally get my Cricket put back together and learn how to warp... and weave!

8. Continue working on de-cluttering... and sends lots of bags to Goodwill.

9. Finish at least some of my 101 WIP's.

10. Sand down and repaint the railing on the front stairs.

Nichole thanks for visiting Irish eyes my little blog. Im so happy you want to look at the hat pattern: The COMMENT CAP by kathy b

Cast on 72 (88)
Begin k2p2 for first row
Next row p2k2
Repeat this for a small brim ....about 1/4 inch

Then begin stockinette or knit around for about 8 rows.
Do one purl row on 9th row.
KNit 8 more rows
One purl row

Do this until you have made 3 purl bump rows.

In the next row begin your decreases:

Start with K8k2tog all the way around
Next row Knit
Then K7k2tog all the way around

Continue in this manner until you have less than 10 stitches on your needles.
Then knit them round and round until you have a little stump.
Cut thread and pull through the remaining 10 stitches.

Weave in just 2 ends.

Woah, that's quite a bunch of things to do. :D Your container garden is looking beautiful (very much alive and growing!) ;) Is that Tut looking all so cute?

I love your container garden. Do you grow basil? You could put that on your pizza on the grill. When you do grill your pizza I hope you'll share photos!

Glad you got that animal hospital book!

We stuck a few small plants in the ground last weekend. I have to water them when the dogs are inside so I don't attract their attention. If they discover them, they'll try to help and that's how most of my garden has disappeared.

I'm working on my Summer to-do list. Pizza on the grill is awesome. We're planting our garden this weekend.
