On Saturday, we received a wonderful surprise package of toys and treats from Harper and her family. It really meant a lot to know they were thinking of us and helped to brighten all of the Lapdogs' spirits. Of course, it also reminded me of the play dates we put off last fall. Harper was one of those fosters who really clicked with both Lola and Sophie. Please, learn from our mistakes and don't put those special moments off. If there's one thing this absolutely awful experience has taught me, don't put things off... you just never know what can happen, or when. Live life to it's fullest... all the time.

That's great advice. I certainly learned it two years ago and try to remember every day to hug each of my messy monsters and tell them how much they are loved.
:( Cancer ---boooo.
All you can really do, is what you are doing, live each day to the fullest and make it as fun and memorable as possible. Thankfully, dogs don't have regrets like we do. Unless of course it goes something like, "Gosh, I wish I had taken both of those donuts off the plate and eaten them instead of just one.". ;)
No doubt Lola knows how very much you love her as you spoil her through this ordeal. You have tugged on my heart, as I lost my girl Tidbit to cancer this past June. And yes, her last year she was spoiled more than ever before.
My heart goes out to you. You are a wonderful dog Mom.
Sending all our golden love to Lola and much strength to mom and dad! Ours hearts go out to you!
You have been doing wonderfully with her, and it was great of Harper's family to think of you so fondly and send some love your way. We are all thinking of you and Lola.
I am in awe of your strength. You may not realize it yet, but you are teaching so many of us how to love without ceasing. I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Here via LBJ. I too have lost a furry friend to osteosarcoma. Thinking of you, and wishing Lola Godspeed and a gentle crossing.
Hugs from all of us
