Not-So-Scary Outtakes

There's not much scarier than another Monday sneaking up on us so fast, is there?  And while these outtakes certainly are not scary at all, they are fun!

 

Since it was Penny's first Halloween, I wanted to get a little more creative with our Halloween card this year. 

I even ordered an adorable Minion costume for her.  I went down just one size from what was suggested for a Doberman, knowing she would not be full grown just yet.  Of course, I was quickly reminded of why I'm not a big fan of full-piece, mass-produced pet costumes.  While the body fit, it was a bit snug... yet the hat was way too big (it would have fit my Zeus!).

  

Ah well, she is still the cutest Minion I know. And, I am absolutely amazed that I was able to get Sophie to wear the witch hat for as long as I did.

I wonder if she took note of how much her little sister rocks it?

That is, when she's not rolling around, romping or playing with it on.  Seriously, Penny seems to love her witch hat and will leave it on without any second thoughts.

 

Unlike Sophie, who shook it off at least half a dozen times during our photo shoot.  Tut even wore the hat for a few pics, but quickly shook it off as soon as he got his treat.
