Are you in the market for some new artwork? Perhaps to finally fill that blank wall in your hallway, or to breathe some new life into your living room? Maybe your office could use a pop of color, or you need a fresh idea for Mother's/Father's Day gifts this year?
We were recently given the opportunity to select a piece of artwork for review from Framed Art, who offer hundreds of thousands of prints which can be customized in many different ways. Each order placed is completely customized by you, although they do offer great suggestions to help you get started.
If you hadn't guessed, I chose to peruse the framed dog posters to find my selection. It wasn't easy to pick just one, as the options seemed endless, but I ended up deciding on this "Yellow Dog Brewing Co." print.
After choosing the print, I was able to work on customizing it to fit my needs. I chose:
- Size This print was only available in one size (15" x 27")
- Frame Slim Solid Black Flat with Satin Finish, 1 1/4" wide
- Mat 1 mat, 2.5" wide, Tablet White
- Glass Acrylic Plexiglass, Clear
I liked the simplicity of the black frame with one white mat, however there are many options for frames and mats in endless sizes and colors. You can even have up to three mats to really put a custom touch on your print.
I opted for the clear plexiglass because I plan to hang this print in my kitchen where there is no worries of glare, however you may opt for the non-glare plexiglass. There is also an option for glass, which is slightly thicker and heavier than plexiglass, and available in clear, non-glare or museum quality.
The process to customize any print is quite simple and straightforward, however can be a little time consuming if you really start to play with all the different options. If you just want to keep things simple, you can leave all of the suggested options as-is and just head straight to check-out.
It will take a little time for your order to arrive, as each one is custom built to your specifications by an expert framed craftsman at the New Jersey location, but it's well worth the wait.
So, why did I settle on the Yellow Dog Brewing Co. print?
It was a bit quirky, fit with our love of craft beer, would work well in our kitchen, and even more importantly, it reminded me a little of Zeus.
