TGIF and Happy Fiber Arts Friday! I had planned to post a Knitter's Pride review today, but it's just one of those days where my fingers and brain are having hard a time playing nicely together. Or, perhaps maybe it's just I'm trying to multitask and do way too many things at once... but hey, at least I finally figured out how to sync my AOL email on my new Razr phone! After over an hour on the phone with tech support - who decided since they couldn't make their app work they way it was supposed to, I should download a third-party app instead - I was about to throw in the towel. Then I googled the problem I was having and eureka, there was my solution thanks to a friendly user forum. Five minutes later, both of my AOL accounts are reloaded and syncing like they should. Stupid tech support...
Speaking of my new phone... do you think it's a perfect match for me or what? One of the built in user tutorials was full of uber cute doggy photos!
Now that my emails are syncing nicely, I'm not wasting time reading things twice or searching for emails that were sent on my phone and not showing up on my computer. That makes me happy. What doesn't make me happy? Mother Nature screwing with me! This is what happened when I hung the "Welcome Spring" slate on the door...
But anyway, let's get back to Fiber Arts Friday... These twin boy hats were actually finished a few weeks ago.
It's my go-to baby hat pattern lately, Rolled Edge Cap from the 60 Quick Baby Knits book. Yarn is Bernat Jacquards and I used size 5 needles to adjust for the thinner yarn weight and baby twins small size. They were well received by the boys' Mom who says she gets constant compliments on them... yay!
I'm working on a pair of fingerless mitts using the Cool Little Llama-Silk Mittens pattern from Luxury Yarn One-Skein Wonders, but I'm not using llama... or silk. I'm testing out a skein of Biggan Design First Cross Merino for a review (and giveaway... stay tuned!).
I had the pleasure of meeting Biggan at the Interweave Knitting Lab last year. A lovely lady with some truly vibrant shades in her yarn collection. I can't wait to tell you more!

Cute baby hats! The weather is not what it used to be, we're supposed to be in autumn now but the temperature has been around 35C all week and much of the next week too. I miss snow ;)
Those are such cute hats!! Love them on the stuffed dogs too. Well, the babies are cuter.
Love the baby hats. Looks like you cast on for newborns. I've decided mine will fit a six month old (not my intention)
Love how that mitt is looking too.
Those little hats are super adorable! And Happy Birthday to Zeus!
Those hats are well cute. Have a super Saturday.
Best wishes Molly
The hats are darling! Maybe one of these years I'll try to learn how to knit. :-)
