Bunnies and Tantrums and Spring Cleaning - Oh My!

We hope everyone had a nice Easter weekend.  I would guess that most of our furkids are happy to see the bunny ears put away until next year.

We had a pretty relaxing weekend free from ear stomping and bunny chasing... however there was that one little Penny tantrum when she realized she wasn't going to Grammy & Grampy's house for Easter lunch. 

Having a smarty-pants dog who knows what day of the week it is (and what days her humans go to work) can be rough.  All week long, she happily runs to her crate - never making a peep - and waits for her treat before I leave for work. 

On a weekend day? Forget about it... Penny will do everything she can to not go into her crate and once she is in, she carries on, crying and ranting up a storm. 

Apparently, she thinks weekends were meant for Penny's Big Adventures... like last weekend when she went to meet Miss Easter Bunny.

Fortunately, she forgot all about how awful her Mommy and Daddy were for leaving her at home.  After all, we had Easter treats...

Sophie and Tut were pretty happy as well... and they didn't even need to throw a tantrum to get an Easter cookie.
