Her new home is on a lake with loads of land to roam ... and its actually just across the water from her sister Bella, which is awesome! I'm still anxious to find out if she's a swimmer... or just a water lounger!
We brought her to Matt's racing again on Sunday, where she was once again the star of the day commanding all of the kids' (young & old!) attention. We took a tun of photos (love those digital cameras... same cost to snap 5 pics as it is to snap 25!), but I forgot to download them.... so I'll have to post a few later. In the meantime, I still absolutely adore this shot...
I've already heard from her new Mom a couple of times and it sounds like Shelby's having a grand 'ole time wrestling with her 2 new doggy siblings! I'm so happy she went to a home with other doggies... she really needed to have those wrestlemania buddies. The family will be off camping this weekend, which I think means Shelby gets to go on her own little "vacation" with her doggy siblings.
I wonder if she's been sharing her Snuggle?
My kids say WOOF to their foster sister and hope everyone enjoys their Doggy Thursday... and remember, its almost Friday!
Shhh... don't tell them they'll be expecting another foster sister, Sophie, next week!
Also, please remember to see my contest below... its perfect for all you Dogs on Thursday readers!!!! :)

I am so glad to hear that Liliah, um I mean Shelby has a new wonderful forever home.
You are a good person Nichole for all that you do for the dog community!
I can't wait to see the new foster baby you have next week!
hugs and scritches to the dogs this week!
Good for Shelby! I love a post with lots of pictures. The dogs on stairs picture is great. Back dogs look happy, happy, happy. Front dogs looks like: "Here's my smile, take the picture. I want to go play!"
I love that you foster pups. It's such a great cause and I'd love to start it when I get my pups in order and convince Special K that we just gotta... :) Oh and i promise not to keep them all.
Shelby is just too cute.
Happy Dogs on Thursday!!!
Yay! I love it when they find homes!
I'm so glad that Shelby found a new home. I wish we could foster dogs until they found a new home but we can't have dogs where we live. We were lucky enough to talk to landlords into letting us keep Thomas!
Have a wonderful day.
That is so sweet that Shelby is at her forever home. Your are such a great mommy. I'd never be able to let them go if I fostered.
I will be entering your contest. We just got Grover this year from the Humane Society, but I'll email you. I admire you so much. Being a foster mom to pups is such a wonderful gift. I'm just sure I would never ever be able to give them up.
What wonderful news for Lilah/Shelby. She is so lucky to have had you for a foster mommy. I don't know how you do it--I just know I wouldn't be able to part with them. What a difference you are making in their lives, and the lives of the humans in their forever homes!
Love the contest you're doing! I've got a couple of things in the works with deadlines right now, but will be sure to get working on some snuggle blankies. I'll send you an email, too, as the contest deadline gets closer.
Wonderful, just wonderful! Best wishes to Shelby in her new home, and to you for taking another foster baby. There's a place in Heaven for you, that's for sure.
Hooray for Shelby! and Hooray for you for giving her a new and happy life1
That's great news for Lilah/Shelby. It sounds like she's found a wonderful new home. I did post a link to your contest on my blog, but I think I'll probably participate in one of the other ways, too.
Hurray for Lilah/Shelby!
That's great news. Nice to read a positive this morning.
Great dogs on Thursday story! What a happy ending for Shelby :)
